Herewith, notes.  I tried to group topics together but have made no attempt 
to make them into paragraphs & sentences.  Happy to clarify anything that 
is unclear, however.

Programming Staff meeting
Aug 23 ~7:30 pm  @ Jacks house

Filk guest of honor – Heather Dale – confirmed this afternoon

Agenda

1st programming mailing:
  date change for due date: September 23rd or something instead of Sept 30.
  Return address: mailing will go back to Jack’s
  there will be a mass mailer (updated art show mailing version) included 
in the programming mailing
mailing collation before div head meeting Sunday

brainstorming list
             needs to be kick-started again
             Heather will do that
Panel idea: how to design and run a LARP for children

invitation list
    * who’s not on the list
    * cull the list? Something else to do, probably not.

Ellen Krazner will enter filk ideas,  turn into panel ideas – if she can’t 
by first week in September we will look for help
Discussion of possible use of Mambo for form entry?  We have not enough 
information. Should get information.  Phi, Tracy will talk off-line about 
that.

Party favors for getting the database entry done – Archie McFee, ribbons
LAN party  There should be two – one in early Sept for the ideas we have 
and one early Oct for data entry from the programming mailing returns

We need participation from the track heads to get all the ideas together 
and into the précis:

by divhead meeting

LAN party for brainstorming entries  Friday Sept 9h? Friday Sept 
16th?  Both!! 7:30 until whenever.

             Where?
             Tracy Gangwer  needs wireless router w/o encryption

Post on Arisia web site, post on Arisia community on LJ

Return date for first mailing Sept 23

Concomm meeting Tuesday Sept 27th probably(?)

Precis editing work party  Friday Sept 30th  (track heads needed!)

Precis deadline Sun Oct 9th -- start early afternoon goes until done (track 
heads needed!)

Stick and stuff session  for second programming mailing  location tbd Sun 
Oct 16th at Ellen Kranzer’s, directions to follow.

Second mailing return deadline tbd by or before Nov 13th

Discussion of scheduling meetings post 2nd mailing

Postit report – print out things that are needed and put postit glue
Between November 20th and Dec 2nd need first draft of the schedule
By Dec 15th things should be frozen

Jack – mail to programming staff about when the mailing collation is
Heather – will send ideas to brainstorm in the next week
Phi – printing envelopes for mailing this weekend?
