Tuesday, June 28 at 7 PM at the Somerville Public Library: Publishing
Your First Book
Whether you've had a manuscript kicking around in a desk drawer for
years or you're working on a book now but have no idea what to do with
it once it's finished, author Lisa Borders will take you
through the various possibilities of getting a book of fiction published
in today's marketplace. Topics to be covered include deciding when your
book is ready to be published; submitting to agents; small press
contests; and self-publishing.
This event is free and open to the public, and is supported in part by a
grant from the Somerville Arts Council (and the Mass. Cultural
Council). For more information, call the Somerville Library at
617-623-5000 or e-mail lisa at lisaborders.com.
