Here are proposed dates for programming meetings. Locations will be split
between Tem's and my house as we can work out what's best for everyone.

Mon Nov 27
agenda: where are we with program participant signups, what info do we need
out of Zambia to make scheduling go smoothly, how to organize the big
scheduling meeting(s), space allocations between events and programming, and
whatever else we need to talk about

Sat Dec 2
Big scheduling meeting part 1

Wed Dec 6
Big scheduling meeting part 2

Sat Dec 9
Big scheduling meeting part 3

At this point we should have a rough draft schedule for internal perusal. At
best 70% of that schedule will survive til con.

One of Mon/Tues/Wed Dec 11-13? please let me know when we could get the
most people
program ops discussion. review the schedule we made in terms of A/V
requirements, make tweaks in the draft schedule. draft mail to send
proposed schedules to participants. Turn on "my schedule" in Zambia and let
people know. Get participants talking among themselves.

Mon Dec 18 concomm meeting, at the hotel. get those inter-division
questions out there.

Tues or Wed Dec 19-20? please let me know when we could get the most people
A meeting if we need one. A lot of fine tuning of schedule based on
feedback from participants, and program guide text improvements and
clarifications as the participants start to get thinkig about topics. Maybe
an online, chat room meeting to make sure we get to discuss things?

approx Tues Dec 26 -- not necessarily a meeting --- turn over slushy
schedule to publications (90% or better of it is ready to go) and web, to be
posted with caveats that things are subject to change

Thurs Jan 4 program participants packets creation What do we need here? A
bunch of printing, for one thing. More mail about that a month or so from
now.

Sunday Jan 7. programming tie-down. Info for late-breaking grid changes --
or the first con newsletter, depending on the pubs schedule. Last chance to
fight fires before we fight them at con.

feedback requested and appreciated,
Rachel
