I tried to log in. Got the log in page and used the number and changeme
password and it didn't work. Again. Got the message "Incorrect badgeid or
password." I'm using an older version of Netscape on an old pc (Pentium 3)
and dial-up modem. I know, I'm so 20th century. I get paid at 20th century
rates, too.
Sigh.

Subject: Participating in Programming at Arisia 2007 -- Panel Selection
Available
Dear Ken Gale
Greetings! We have extended you an invitation to participate in
programming at Arisia 2006. We are following up with the program
precis. Just to verify, we have an email address of
kengale at comicbookradioshow.com for you.
If you prefer a different address, please reply with an update.
We are using a web-based tool for the process of signing
up for panels and events. Using it you can browse and search through
the precis, indicate your interest in panels and events, and inform
us as to your availability during the convention.
Our programming web site, called Zambia, is available at
http://two-step.netbusters.com/~trg/arisia07
Please log in as soon as possible to indicate your selections.
The deadline for responses is November 30th.
To remind you, your login id is: 4253
and if you have not previously logged in this year, your password
is "changeme". If you reset your password and do not remember what
it is, please send mail to program-staff at arisia.org and we will
reset it for you.
When you log into Zambia you will see several tabs at the top of
the page.
* The Search Panels tab gives you a view of the panels we are
considering, and a way to select panels you'd be interested
in participating in.
* The My Panel Interests tab displays what you selected and lets
you rank panels and request to moderate panels.
* The My Availability tab is very important for us as we attempt
to give you a schedule that will meet your needs and allow you
to enjoy the convention. Please fill it out completely!
* Last but not least, if you have not put in a new biography in
the My Profile tab, we urge you to do so that the bio can be
printed in convention publications. It's also very helpful
to us in programming at getting the best matches between people
and panels.
If you have any trouble with the forms, or any other questions about
programming, please write to program-staff at arisia.org and we'll help
out as quickly as we can.
You may be expecting to see something in the precis that does not
appear here. Proposals for single-person presentations, which are
not appropriate for general sign-up by other interested guests, are
the most common case. If you made such a proposal, the programming
team will be in touch with you by November 30 (and please write to
us again if you have not heard from us by then). If you have other
questions about the precis contents, please send mail to
program at arisia.org.
Thank you for participating in Arisia programming,
Jack, September, Rachel, Bridget & the entire Arisia Programming Team!
