Some people seem to be heavily overscheduled. My experience in the past is
that 3 panels back-to-back is not a good idea for almost anyone, and that
more than 2 Friday/3 Saturday/ 2 Sunday is also a bad idea. With the new 4
day con, the numbers might be more like 2 Fri/ 3 Sat/3 Sun / 1 Mon. There
are a few exceptions to this rule but we should make sure that they are
people we either know personally or can ask before schedules get published.
You might think that participants will push back and say "no, really I
didn't want to do that many panels" but in fact, what we found out in the
past when we ignored this kind of sensible limit is that they will say to US
"oh, that's fine" and then go off and be either quietly miiserable or loudly
unhappy. Or they will just not show up.
