  We had a complaint from someone who objected to workshops on Friday
evening because they observed Shabbos and couldn't participate.

  But the goal of the Friday/Monday split was to give folks time to
work on their project and show off their progress on Monday.  Not
starting the Workshop until Saturday evening loses a day for working
on the project.
