I'm not meaning to be mean here; I'm truly sorry they can't participate. However, there are also people who observe the Christian sabbath, and they don't attend anything until after they have attended mass. They also don't seem to make nearly as much of an issue of this issue; they just quietly do it. While it would be nice to be able to provide everything to everyone, there are always conflicts, and its not up to us to schedule around the conflicts that result from anyone's religious choices. The choice to be observant does partly result in sacrifices, and not having any workshops between sundown on Friday and Saturday night to accommodate people.

I can understand being sad that they can't participate, and we should indeed make sure there are a few things spread on all days, but people 'objecting' to the timing should be gently reminded that they have made the decision to follow their forefathers, and this is indeed part of it.
