Hi Everyone,

This note is a reminder that although I would like to be telepathic, and
inside the minds of everyone on this list from time to time (at least to
adjust your thinking to match mine, she says with a gleam in her eye!) I
can't actually know what you don't tell me.

What would I like to know that you haven't told me about what you would like
to do on next year's Arisia? Is there a Division or Area that you would
like to run? Is there someone you would particularly like to work with? Or
vice versa?

I'll be making some critical path decisions this coming weekend. Please
EMAIL me at 09Chair at arisia.org by Sunday noon for consideration as I put
the organization together. And, although I would like, in theory, to talk
to each and every one of you for a short or long time, there is not enough
time and I cannot keep my voice or my patience long enough to do so. Please
don't phone me - I like things in writing. Honest.

Also, please be advised that if you tell me you don't want to work on this
year's convention I will respect that statement and move along. I am not in
the business of coercing people to do things that they don't want to do.

So - again - if you want to do something specific TELL ME. If you have
something I need to know about things you don't want to do or people you do
or don't want to work with TELL ME. And, if you don't want to work this
year and I should know about it TELL ME.

Probably starting next week we will be changing over the default web pages
to 2009, and we will be changing who gets directed emails to various areas
as they are assigned. These things will not be done blindly. If you get a
directed email you will be sent one that says you've been replaced or not,
and then we'll change the direction. (If that made sense, it's a miracle.)

If there are hints, tips, and stories you'd like to pass on to your
successor, please share with them as they are appointed.

Again, thank you! We made a hellofagood Arisia '08. And, we'll make at
least as good an Arisia '09.

Jill
