What you did?
Got a lot of names and a list of future contacts; got some good movie 
freebies; asked Filthy Pierre to set up the usual flyer racks (which are 
awesome as always).

What went right?
Found good freebies, and a list for the future

What went wrong?
Too much too late—I found a media distributor who wanted to give us a 
ton of stuff (including movies & a trailer park DVD), but it was a week 
before the con, and the schedule had been set. They also wanted free 
memberships, which were beyond the power of Freebies to give. Confusion 
as to what is a Press pass.

What should be done differently next year?
Start in August with the list, so that people can get stuff to us in a 
timely fashion & we can use them.

What sort of schedule/timeline did you use?
None

Are the any changes you'd make to the schedule for next year?
Start in August

Vendors you used?
None, beyond some cell phone calling & the internet.

Experiments to try next year?
More room for posters & buttons

Any comments about the rest of the con (other divisions, hotel, ...)?
While having reg near the front door is nice for the fans, shifting 
freebies back there and allowing reg/info to shift away might be 
healthier for the humans involved. OTOH, those odd wooden tables/shelves 
aren’t useful for much else.
