Oh boy, Lucky Me... (note to self: Keep mouth shut unless you want to
stick foot in.)

I'd be just fine with doing whatever is needed to make this work. But I'd
like to defer to the originator of this great idea... the ol' Peacefrog
himself... JUDE.

Jude, direct me and I shall comply, and let's take the rest of this
off-line. Then we'll report the finals to Tem? OK?

Hi folks,

I'm not sure this is compatible with Events Division, since it seems to me
it should be a low-key thing, ongoing throughout the con. Since Mary Dumas
has contributed so much to the discussion, and has mentioned using the
Volunteer Lounge as 'Base Camp', I think she should be the official point
person for this 'Arisia happening'. Of course, it's anyone's guess how many
"This con-goer climbed Mt. Arisia" (play on the Mt. Washington bumper
stickers, just a thought) ribbons should be ordered. And do we just have
Mary hand them out in Volunteer's Lounge on the Honor System?

So just to clarify, and since there has been no official response on
this yet, the event/program I am proposing would not involve segregating
people by speed nor numbering or timing them. There would be no prize
for finishing first, just the ribbon prize for finishing, period.

I'd love to hear *something* from the Powers That Be since I'm being
poked by divheads about my schedule. I still think this would be a
great event.

Thanks,
