I was going by what was written on the big sheet of paper at the
front of the room. *I* knew about the Dead Dog thing from the DivHead
meeting that day, where I believe it was also mentioned that staff
should save their comments for the debrief.

Then what is the forum/venue for them to do so? Quite a few staff had
gone home by the time the Dead Dog came around and I'm sure many more
didn't go to the Gripe and so perhaps didn't get the message.

What is the value of sitting there while someone tells me something
they could just as easily tell me via email? I agree we aren't going
to fix every problem for next year at the debrief but the "just the
facts, Ma'am" approach seems no better than email.
