Robin Atkins Downs, Byron on B5, went to Philcon of his own accord.
He was on Programming because he dropped a line to the Philcon
committee to say he was coming and did they want to use him. He
happened to be a graduate of Temple, a local Philly college. He was
not paid he was just there for the fun of it. (I knew him years
before but that is another story) So it would happen an actor would
go to a SF literary/Art convention.

This is much different then Michael O'Hare, Cmd Sinclair on B5. He
was paid for his Lunacon appearance. He was not paid the same as if
he was a a Media con, nor was there AFAIR pay for autograph session
He was a special guest the conchair wanted.
