At work we are converting a website to use drupal, so I understand deeply 
about installing new modules. I was going to suggest fckeditor which is 
IMHO a better WYSiWYG editor than TinyMCE (a requirement for our build), 
but it doesn't seem to work with Safari either.

In fact, the drupal forum doesn't mention *any* WYSIWYG module that works 
with Safari. Sorry.
