Do any of our fellow Arisia people have an active account on Second Life? If you do, would you like to help Arisia create and maintain a presence there?
I had the idea of establishing a presence for Arisia within Second Life. It's a different approach from our usual marketing methods. It's not what I'd call viral marketing so much as oblique marketing. Essentially this will mean putting content out there for people to just stumble across or use at their own speed. If the content is made interesting enough word will get around quickly and people will come looking for you. For further information author Warren Ellis (Transmetropolitan, Planetary) writes 
a series of articles on Reuters about what it's like inside SL.
