Actually, I think I was the one who spoke up and said that, while I'm
fine with student discounts, I thought the basic student rate should not
fall below half the regular rate. I don't think I said $30 but, since
the regular rate is now $60 at the door, that was implied. Others said
$30 later in the discussion.

Rick actually suggested $30 for the at-the-door student rate.
