[ST] [SA] The Importance Of Completing Time Sheets

This is a friendly reminder to please PLEASE fill in your time sheets
this year.

If you worked enough hours pre-con to get a t-shirt, then fill in both
a pre-con time sheet to collect your T-shirt, and an at-con time sheet
to collect your comp for next year.

When registration ran the org chart this year, we found that a number
of people who had worked plenty of hours last year had somehow managed
to avoid filling out a time sheet and hadn't been comped.

The missing time sheets included one of our Assistant Con Chairs, our
Programming Div Head, our Tech Director, and at least one other div
head from last year.

You may think that if you are as important as a div head or even the
con chair, that we in registration should just know that you worked a
ton of hours and comp you.

Unfortunately, we don't work that way.  We comp based on the time
sheets, so you MUST fill one in.

You may have the following objections:

1. I've worked umpty-bazillion hours on this bloody convention.  Even
figuring out how many hours I spent doing what would be painful.  Just
comp me.

That's okay.  Write down umpty-bazillion doing whatever your job title
is.  We don't need the details; we need the documentation.  If it's
more than 12, and I think for most of the staff, it's way more than
12, just write down your best guess, and if you're so fried you can't
guess, write down a bazillion.  Do NOT delay turning in your time
sheet because you need to check your old calendar to calculate how
much you actually worked -- you won't get around to it, and then we'll
have to comp you at the last minute next year.

2. I AM a division head.  Who do I get to sign my hour sheets?

Sign 'em yourself.  Get the assistant con chair in charge of your
division to sign 'em.  I don't care, just get 'em signed.  This isn't
legalese.  This is just record-keeping.

3.  I don't know where to turn 'em in.

Turn them into Volunteers or turn 'em into Ops.  Both places will have
bins for Time Sheets.  Just do it!
