Hello Wonderful People!
This message is a reminder that your presence both in body and mind is
requested next weekend, Sunday, 27 January 2008, at 2pm SHARP for the Arisia
'08 Debrief meeting. This meeting will take place at "the usual site" at
MIT, here: http://2007.arisia.org/corpdirections-mit
Bring cookies! (Please no nuts or fruits as there are people attending who
are VERY allergic and will become ill should they sniff such things.)
Whether or not you will be attending the meeting, and since I like things in
writing, please write up a report about your division or area and send it to
the staff at arisia.org address. If you would like some guidance on what to
include in your report, see here:

Please post that report as soon as you are able. It would be most helpful
if you send the reports in before noon on Saturday to give others a chance
to review them before the meeting.
The agenda for the meeting:
Each assistant chair, division, department, area head, etc will be asked for
a brief, approximate 1 minute, summary of their area of responsibility.
Comments will be solicited from the room for up to 2 minutes on that area of
responsibility. There are 80 (eighty) areas here, meaning that if each took
1 minute to report the meeting will be an hour and a half. If each took 3
minutes the meeting would be four and a half hours. Some areas will require
a trivial amount of time and we will move on quickly. Any area requiring
more than the allotted 3 minutes may be able to continue at the end of the
first run-through.
As with all debriefings - stick to the facts and make NO PERSONAL ATTACKS!
People who are found to be misbehaving will be de-localized. Please consider
how you might feel about any comment BEFORE you make that comment to someone
else.
