Hi,

I disagree; I think the brand continuity is far more important.  
Changing a logo shouldn't be done casually and, as far as I can see,  
this is pretty casual. If there were a formal request by the artist  
revoking our right to use his work, that's one thing, but a comment  
to a LiveJournal post is quite another.

Also, I've never seen a "open process" that didn't result in people  
feeling grumpy; I've also rarely seen one that comes up with the best  
solution.
