Arisia and other cons. I'm suggesting this system because every year
there seems to be one showdown after another at the elevators as
people who are not visibly disabled struggle to explain that no, they
_really can't_ take the stairs. It's an embarrassing, wearying
process for everyone, it foments mistrust and dislike of the
disabled, and I would like to see if we can put an end to it.
That's exactly why I advocate _no_ special treatment for _anyone_.
That way there's nobody who has to decide "oh, your infirmary
is not sufficient to warrant being allowed to use the elevators
in a way that is at all timely".
Do you want to be on the recieving end of a lawsuit that you
didn't give someone a blue sticker, and hence they were effectively
discriminated against?
Not you==Arisia, mind you. You == You, Rose? Personal lawsuit.
Trust me, it *will* happen to whoever is the authority that
says yes or no.
