If possible, please carpool, or take public transit to get to the hotel.
Parking in the Hyatt Regency Boston/Cambridge garage is limited to ~400 spaces. We're expecting ~2,000 people, and the Hyatt's garage usually fills up by Friday evening.
Hyatt Regency Boston/Cambridge Garage
We arranged for discounted parking rates for our attendees in the Hyatt's parking garage. Self-parking is available in the Hyatt's garage;
- For people staying overnight in a hotel room, parking is $30 per day
- For people staying for the day, parking is $15 per day.
Valet parking costs $58 per day. If you have an EV car that uses an SAE J1772 plug (possibly CCS, but not Tesla), the hotel has 8 charging stations. You'll need to use Valet parking for access (they'll move your car when it's done charging). The price is $68 per day.
For both forms of parking. You can stay until 5pm on your day of departure.
A parking pass does NOT guarantee that space will be held for you in the Hyatt's garage.
Complimentary day parking for guest of Boston Marriott Cambridge (the overflow hotel). Request validation at Hyatt Front Desk and show your room key.
All rates will apply from 6am Thursday through noon Tuesday of the convention for Arisia attendees.
To purchase a parking pass, enter the Hyatt garage and once parked, take the paper ticket to the front desk and exchange it for a reusable plastic card.
The height limit of the Hyatt's garage is 6' 4".
If the Hyatt's garage is full and you have a hotel room at the Hyatt, we recommend that you drop of your stuff first, hunting for a place to park.
Do not park in any MIT parking lots. The MIT police will ticket and possibly tow.
On-street parking
There is limited on street parking in the area. Some of the parking meters are free at nights and on Sunday and Monday (holiday).
Audrey Street may look like an ordinary street, but it is reserved for MIT. Also, do not park in any of the MIT parking lots unless you have a permit, other wise they may ticket.
Central Square Parking Garages and Lots
The city of Cambridge has a map of the city's parking lots and garages in the city. On the map, the orange Ps are lots. The orange Ps with little roofs are garages. Scroll down about halfway (past the info about parking permits).
There are several parking garages and lots in Central Square. According to parkopedia.com, the cheapest garage is the Green St. Garage is $30 per weekday or $13 per weekend day (7 a.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Monday).

Bicycles
