All reservations will default to the Standard block this year. Low Floor, Family, and Active Blocks are available this year, via the Special Request Form.
If you require an accessible room, Block request, Suite, or any other special request, please make your reservation and fill out the Special Request Form.
Room Block Types:
- Standard Block - All reservations default to the Standard Block: a normal hotel experience is expected here.
- Active Block - these are rooms near party suites and other active areas. The idea is for people to self-select these areas to reduce noise complaints from people who’d rather NOT be in those areas.
- Shabbat - These are rooms on low floors (2nd and 3rd at the Hyatt)
- Low Floor - These rooms are also on low floors but maybe be on a hall with an automatic door (2nd and 3rd at the Hyatt)
- Family Floor - Grouped near each other on same floor as Geeky Family ClubHouse. Make a standard reservation and then submit the Special Request form to request a room on the Family Floor.
- Room blocks are sections of hotel floors and are not complete floors.
- You do not need to pay a fee to request a high or low floor. For these and any other requests, please fill out Arisia's Special Request form.
- If the hotel reservation system says no rooms are available, try changing your arrival date (e.g. Friday instead of Thursday). If that works, fill out the Special Request form and request the desired arrival date.
Other Room Types:
- Suite - A pair of rooms designed to be used together, generally with one sleeping room and one parlor room (possibly with a pull out bed). Allocation managed by the Innkeeper team. Not to be confused with connecting rooms.
- Connecting Rooms - Two typical hotel rooms that have a door between them that needs to be unlocked from both sides to be used.
- Adjoining Rooms - Rooms next to each other but not connected internally. May be on the same short hall with a door.
- If you want adjoining or connecting hotel rooms, reserve two hotel rooms and then fill out Arisia's Special Request form.
Additional Notes
- The "cut-off date" for reserving rooms in the Arisia Room Blocks at the hotel is January 6th, 2025.
- If you'd like to stay longer, the discounted hotel room rate begins Tue., Jan. 14 and ends Thu., Jan. 23
- Parking cars attached to a guest room will be a discounted rate of $30 per night per car.
The fine print:
- All hotel rates are per night and do not include the 15.95% taxes and fees.
- All rates are for all occupancy levels, but no more than four (4) people may stay in a room.
- Rooms include free in-room wireless Internet.
- The only way to reserve a discounted room for Arisia is through the link on this web page.
- All rooms at the hotel must be canceled 72 hours prior to check-in to avoid incurring a penalty.
