Getting to the Hotel

We’re returning to the Ziggurat this year. If  you’ve not heard this nickname for the hotel before, you’ll get it when you get there.

The full address is The Hyatt Regency Boston/Cambridge, 575 Memorial Drive, Cambridge, Massachusetts, 02139, but your GPS will have you turn onto Amesbury Street to access the hotel’s driveway.

Parking

Self-parking is available in the Hyatt's garage. We have arranged for discounted parking passes for our attendees in the Hyatt's parking garage:
  • For people staying overnight in a hotel room, parking is $30 per day
  • For people staying for the day, parking is $15 per day.
To purchase a parking pass, enter the Hyatt garage and once parked, take the paper ticket to the front desk and exchange it for a reusable plastic card.

The garage holds about 400 cars and we do expect it to fill up. Please note, the garage does not offer in and out privileges.

Please visit arisia.org/parking for more information.

MBTA

The closest stop is Central Square on the Red Line. It’s about a mile to the hotel, but services like Uber or Lift are readily available in Cambridge. There may be taxis available in Central Square.
Kendall Square station is just one stop away and will be serviced by the Arisia Shuttle.

Complimentary Shuttles

There will be two complimentary shuttles for Arisia 2025. Arisia is providing a shuttle for all members to use. In addition, the Hyatt Regency Boston/Cambridge has an on-demand shuttle for hotel guests. The Arisia Shuttle

Programming News

The schedule is up at schedule.arisia.org and there are a few things on it that we’re really excited to share.

We are launching a brand new track focused on Horror and we encourage you to check it out. We’re hosting a late night RPG liveplay featuring performers from the Records of the Realms liveplay group. Also…our Fan Guest of Honor, Siobhan Flanagan is trying to beat her personal record of twelve panels at Arisia. Will she make it? Let’s find out at convention!

As always, if you have a smartphone or tablet, please bookmark schedule.arisia.org and check it for any last  minute updates to our schedule.

Highlighted Events

Events are also listed at schedule.arisia.org and we’d like to highlight a few things.

Friday Night, 9 PM, Amesbury Ballroom A/B: Come mix with The Ton at our Bridgerton Themed Ball. Regency attire is most appreciated but not required. Come dance to our live band. Will you be this year’s Diamond??

Saturday Night, 7 PM, Amesbury Ballroom A/B: Our special guests, The Nathaniel Johnstone Band, plays dark-themed, world-influenced rock tunes. They explore stories in their music. You should listen to them. (I like this band.)

Sunday, 8 PM, Amesbury Ballroom A/B: You know it, you love it, The Arisia Masquerade.

Monday, 1 PM, Amesbury Ballroom A/B: It’s the return of the Arisia Swap Meet. Bring stuff to swap, trade, or just donate to the swap. And take stuff with you, too.

Seeking Volunteers

Many divisions are still actively recruiting volunteers. If you can help, please visit arisia.org/Volunteer.

At the convention, Team Arisia Services will be on the second floor in Remington and can often connect you with a volunteer opportunity if you find yourself with a couple hours open.

Convention Suites (Mask Optional Spaces)

This year, we will have two Con Suites, the Inman Square room on the first floor and Suite 1401 on the fourteenth floor, near Gaming. Con Suites are a place where anyone can come by to grab a snack and take a mask break. The convention provides light refreshments and access to a microwave.

This year, Con Suites will not be open 24/7. The Con Suite hours are:
    Friday: 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm
    Saturday: 9:00 am - 9:00 pm
    Sunday: 9:00 am - 9:00 pm
    Monday: 9:00 am - noon

Suite 1401 (14th Floor)

    Friday: 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
    Saturday: 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
    Sunday: 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
    Monday: closed

COVID Policy Reminder

Arisia 2025 will require masks in all convention spaces unless they are otherwise marked as mask-optional. The hotel does not have a mask mandate, which means there are likely to be unmasked individuals in public areas of the hotel. Masks in Arisia spaces must be a minimum of a medical mask with a filter. We encourage use of higher filtration masks such as N/KN 95 or KF94. Additional information regarding COVID-related policies for Arisia 2025 will be announced in an upcoming Progress Report.

Con Chair Corner: Julia

Hello! My name is Julia and I am so happy to be a part of this year’s con chair team! Arisia has been a central piece in my life for years, and it is exciting and meaningful to get involved in the community in this new way this year. We have been working hard all through 2024 alongside dedicated volunteer staff to bring all of us together in just a few short days for Arisia 2025!

I started attending Arisia when I was a kid, going with my family and running around the convention with my friends. As an adult, I became interested in getting more involved in working the convention. At 20 I started working with Logistics and the Artshow Directors Team.

This year marks my 9th year being involved in the management of the Artshow and I have loved every bit of it. This is in large part due to the wonderful dedicated staff that we have year after year who I look forward to seeing and working with each convention!

This year has been exciting taking on new challenges as part of the Conchair Team and has taught me a lot about leadership while also letting me use the skills I've grown over my near decade working in Artshow.

I cannot believe that we are so close to the convention and hope to see you at Arisia to enjoy all it has to offer!
